Hey man, first of all I would say that you should only pick this subject if you're interested in it and have some prior knowledge, because this subject demands a lot of time, about 20 days at least, and that's a lot of time imo.

And I mainly decided on the depths of the topic by going back to the past papers and seeing if I could solve the questions with the amount of study I had done in a particular topic, if I felt it was inadequate, I studied it a bit more.
