The question that if International Law is actually a Law is debated. On one end we see UN, ICJ etc. but on the other hand we see clear violation of International Law by power nations. The International Law is a Law in a sense that it is a combination of norms and practices but it also lacks the power of implementation as there is no international body to implement it. There is also a debate on how the International Law should be applied, whether it can be applied as it is or must be modified and codified into the domestic laws. So, International Law is an oxymoron, it is a Law in a sense that it has some formality attached to it but it is also not a law if compared to domestic laws of country which are forcefully implemented by exercise of power and if required armed power.
