Debt-servicing is the biggest obstacle in Pakistan’s road to progress. International Financial Institutions impress their conditions before they could provide loans for which indebted countries are unable to initiate human-development projects. Pakistan is so much debt-laden that after doing debt-servicing nothing is left in the treasury for the uplift of masses. We face this situation because loans were not utilized on profitable projects, instead, they were consumed on the short-lived comforts. Besides, a large portion of loans was misappropriated.
