(These might seem like too many but TPUM is a separate discipline. Words we use everyday mean someting different and more technical when used within this subject. So just give them a quick read through if nothing else.)

This CSS forum has some good points on each civilization: http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-optio...ss-2016-a.html

I mostly studies this from Sisters notes. She's a fine arts students and they study a lot of historical cities and cultures. Look through some importnat cities and features of towns from each of the sub-topic. The layouts can easily be remembered and reproduced. It is fairly easy to do and this is a fun question to attempt.

Urban Rural Differences and Hierarchy of Settlements: Urbanization and its effects on the environment of urban areas.

Difference between urban and rural: https://keydifferences.com/differenc...and-rural.html

settlement hierarchy: https://study.com/academy/lesson/set...ategories.html | http://townplanninglectures.blogspot...d-in-town.html

can't find the links but this is an easy enough topic to find material on

History of planning in Pakistan: 5 year plans, Regional Plans, Master Plans etc.

I sort of skipped this topic since it was just too vast. but I did an overall reading from here: http://www.pide.org.pk/pdf/PDR/1996/Volume4/443-465.pdf
