The intro has 3 steps.

1. Hook (quotation)
2. The bridge (where you transition from the hook to the thesis statement)
3. Thesis statement.

You can use a second header as an overview of the topic.

For example if there is a topic criticizing globalization, you can give an introduction and give a second header of "Critique of Globalization; an overview"
