1887-07-04 -

The treaty of the Durand Line is signed between present day Pakistan and Afghanistan - the Durand Line has gained international

The All India Muslim League is founded in Dacca, East Bengal, British India Empire, which later laid down the foundations of Pakistan.

2007-10-18 -
After 8 years in exile, Benazir Bhutto returns to her homeland Pakistan. The same night, suicide attackers blow themselves up near Bhutto's convoy, killing over 100 in the cheering crowd, including 20 police officers. Bhutto escaped uninjured.

2007-11-03 -
Pervez Musharraf declared emergency rule across Pakistan. He suspended the Constitution, imposed State of Emergency, and fired the chief justice of the Supreme Court.

2007-12-27 -
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto is assassinated by a suicide bomber.

The Gora Prai airstrike by the United States reportedly kills 11 Pakistani paramilitary troops.
