Here goes my try for the insects one..

Different kinds of insects arouse different types of feelings in man, some positive, others negative. Insects, undoubtedly are a source of a number of threats and disturbances for humans, causing severe damage to life and property. However, they have their usefulness too. They are known to provide food for humans, play a part in natural processes, and cleaning the environment of wastes. Insects are believed to be present in every nook and corner of the world since ancient times. They often live in organized communities, complex in nature, which seems to be due to their intelligence. However, it is actually the instinct inherent in them which is responsible for such behavior, not the brain. But even the instinctive behavior has characteristics of intelligence. (122 words)
