Last time i was going through the comments of Paper checkers of 2006. They clearly mentioned that students' answers reflected "One book study" and lacked in depth knowledge and because of that reason they failed to fetch good marks.
I think if one intends to join top groups, he will have to go through many books. The more you take pain, the more is the gain.
Making of Pakistan by K.K.Aziz is fantastic book. But book as a whole reflects how muslims were different from Hindus. It discusses the muslim nationalism. It doesnt covers the historical events in depth.
I will also suggest people to prepare post-partition part as well.At least half of the paper is covered from this part(including objective). We think that we know everything after partition but the fact is quite different.
