Dear it varies from person to person it depends on what you like to have in your life? If having 50+ salary, house & car finance and living a peaceful life with your family all what you want then for sure you better continue with your NBP job

BUT

If you like meeting new and new people every day, want to have extensive contacts in all government departments, media and politicians, want to improve your qualification by getting a masters degree from a foreign university, want to be posted abroad as Press attache', press counselor and Press minister then for sure you SHOULD opt for Information Group.
At the end of the day you have to take the decision that what you like more amongst the two scenarios above. If I were you I definitely would have opted for Civil Service; the biggest edge one gets is the social recognition, contacts and lecurative scholarships for higher study abroad.
