US is the superpower but current scenerio shows that soon China would be the world power
I challenge ur statement, Current scenerio shows that Chia is not interested 2 b a super-power.
Super-power has 2 powers...
1) Hard Power
2) Soft Power
Hard Power contains 2 aspects i.e. Military and Economic supremacy...... and we hav current statistics that 4m military point of view..... China is 40 years behind US.
Senior war-weapon specialist say that if US stops 2 invest on her Weapons 2 upgrade them and China invests 3 times than current investment...... US has no threat after 15 years 4m China on military grounds.
We know that super-powers do not fight 2 each-other but military supremacy and permanent upgrading is necessirily required.
China has improved her economy in last few years on sound basis. She has the largest population of the world and use her bi-lateral trade relations as a diplomatic threat 2 her partener.
But US has no threat 2 b beaten by China on economic grounds. Coz senior economists say that If china grows her economy with recent pace, she will b 2nd powerful economy behind US in 2015.
Soft-power has the areas like ....
1) taking interests 2 resolve the issues of smaller states
2) taking interest in playing at global level
3) Media-ruling etc
US left no space 4 any other power in above fields. China,itslf, is taking no interest in playing politics at global level. She is a regional player, not interested 2 improve her military strength and focusses on bi-lateral or tri-lateral trade relations.
The most important thing which should b kept in mind that China, no doubt, can b a threat 4 US coz US has wrongly estimated in Iraq war as....

that estimation proves wrong and US has increased upto.......
550,000 troops
has spent 450 billion dollars (Leading economists predict that US will hav 2 spend 1-2 trillion dollars on this "Mission accomplished" compaign of Bush)
These things can go in favour of china so US has secured nuclear partenership with India to bound china.
