Biography on Shah Wali Ullah
''Shah Waliullah''
Shah waliullah was born in Dehli in the year 1703 AD.
His father Shah Abdul Rahim was respected for his knowledge, and laid the foundation of Madrassae Rahimiya.
By age of 7 he learned quran, learnt arabic and persian in the next three years.
At the age of 15 he studied medicine, phylosophy, religion and other sciences that were taught in Madrassae rahimiya.
At the age of 28 he went to perform Hajj, and his stay in Mekkah gave him a spiritual depth.
He also taught in Madrassae Rahimiya.
He translated the holy Quran from Arabic in Persian.
He was not satisfied with the economic conditions of the Muslims.
Shah waliullah wrote many books.
Shah waliullah knew that the muslim empire was in danger from the Marhattas, so he requested Ahmed Shah Abdali of afghanistan, abdali arrived at panipat in 1761 and defeated the marhattas.
Shah Waliullah died in 1762 AD.
