well marjah! the pattern for difficult papers change every year. to add to the complexity, even easy papers fetch poor results for the candidates (Journalism last year for example. People with 19 MCQs correct failed to pass the paper). Thus we can't say that an easy paper is an assurance of a good result. Furthermore, if its not EDS, there are other compulsories left, some of them may be/could be unconventional/tough/difficult!
