Slander is verbal defamation, according to definition of law. And libel may be both verbal or written. And case of slander doesn't stand well in courts; but libel is a serious suit.

Unfortunately, most of candidates selected the option of "both written and verbal" which is wrong by every definition. Slander is only verbal. It can't be written.
