Getting a character certificate in Islamabad: First: you should have a character certificate from your native district (SWA in my case where I never lived!); Second: Get a form from Security Branch located at F-8; Third: Secure a non-objection certificate if you are a public sector employee; Fourth: Attach certified copies of ID, Passport and house registration/lease agreement; Fifth: Contact Security Branch again for referral to your local Police Station; Sixth: Get two signs from Local Police Station; Seventh: Submit your form back to Security Branch; Eighth: Wait for the outcome! OMG, I can’t simply do all this!
