Date: 14th April
time: 40 minutes

bd: please come .. have a seat
floydian: thx

bd: how do u prounounce ur name?
floydian: bla bla

bd: what does ur name mean?
floydian: man of qualities
(everybody smiled)

bd: please share some qualities with us
floydian: sir as u can c in my performa that im bla bla bla
(no expressions on bd's face but other panelists were smiling)

bd: tell me about ur nab experience
floydian: duz duz duz

bd: were u involved in any high profile case? if yes then share some details
floydian: yes sir, i was tasked with Imtiaz Sheikh's case, ex bureaucrat n ex-adviser to Sindh CM n ex Sindh tourism minister.. and sir he was charged with ........ duz du duz

bd: why then u left nab?
floydian: for css prep

bd: read my educational qualifications n then asked.. u started ur bba in aug 2001 n u completed ur mba in 2009... y it took u sooo long?
floydian: sir i did not take my full course load in all the semesters but i was regular in all these years.....

bd: was ur father satisfied with ur pace and scheme of doing things?
floydian: yes sir he is very cooperative and ..err

bd: but dont u think that u wasted the time?
floydian: no sir i was enjoying the szabist experience as it also allowed me to explore other things in life.. and also i only had one goal in mind n that was css...

bd: tell me about 18th amendment and also its impact on the fundamental rights
floydian: sir 18th amendment is a landmark legislation....bla bla bla... it aslo provided for free compulsory education upto 16 years age

bd: ok differentiate b/w the indian n paki constitution
floydian: sir indian constitution is a secular document whereas we have a theocratic form of government..... so on n so forth

bd: name the only indian muslim president
floydian: abdul kalaam

bd: what do u know about the powers of indian president and also differentiate b/w indian n paki presidential powers
floydian: well sir... bla bla bla
bd: i was interrupted and he referred me to ss

ss: what is the true image of police in public?
floydian: sir it is perceived as chronically corrupt, deeply politicized, poorly trained, ill equipped ..(interrupted)


ss: n u want to join such a bad institution?
floydian: sir u asked me about police image in public ..

ss: no but these qualities doesn't suit ur name and ur goals (smiles everywhere)
floydian: well sir..(interrupted)


ss: tell me about the current issue with Georgia
floydian: umm.. sir actually i was expecting Libya
(now the general literally jumped and lol)


ss: (smilingly) always expect the unexpected n tell me about georgia
floydian: well sir i would love to tell but i have no idea about it
(again the general n bd laughed)

ss: ok tell me in which sectors we can attract fdi in our country
floydian: construction, tourism, mining, telecom, energy.. (interrupted)


ss: do u know surah ahzab n its importance?
floydian: no sir


ss: very sad.. ok let me explain.. then he went into the details of darood shareef, namaz n many other things.
floydian: right sir.. yes sir.. sir ... sir... fine sir..yes sir


ss: do u know anything about rekodiq?
floydian: yes sir reko diq is.. (interrupted)
ss: i think the matter is in court so we'll discuss that next time.. over to geb sab
floydiano really? so i have to reappear? huh)


gen: have u ever visited a thana?
floydian: yes sir


gen: n how they treated u?
floydian: sir they were very nice and friendly


gen: ok how they usually behave with a common man?
floydian: sir they are arrogant, uncooperative and even abusive when it comes to a common man

gen: ok y the karachi police have failed to control the target killings?
floydian: sir due to lack of committed leadership, lack of resources and funds, lack of manpower...(interrupted)


gen: gimme the strength of khi police
floydian: sir total is 32000 out of which only 8000 are active or available for the common citizens

gen: ok gimme police to population ratio the ratio?
floydian: 1:477

gen: ok what are the problems of traffic police?
floydian: (luckily i had discussed the same q with dig traffic police only the night before).. so ratti hui puri list suna di

gen: do u like to watch indian channels?
floydian: no sir.. i seldom watch tv

sg: what kind of music do enjoy?
floydian: all kinds

sg: name specific genres
floydian: grindcore, death metal n black metal


sg: do u still play guitar?
floydian: yes sir, sometimes


sg: ok did u ever perform in a concert?
floydian: yes sir many times.. mostly at campus concerts


sg: did u form a band?
floydian: yes sir.. we formed a band called **** ********
(again everybody laughed)

sg: y this name?
floydian: well sir its a secret
(again they all smiled and the gen once again jumped )

sg: ok tell me how can we bring the underground musicians to the mainstream?
floydian: sir we can't because the real underground metaholics don't do commercial stuff and they have their own niche audience

sg: y is it that we have high commissions in some countries and embassies in others?
floydian: don't know sir

sg: ok u have written that mukhtaran mai is ur hero
floydian: yes sir

sg: but can we really call a female.. a hero? (smiles everywhere).. ok tell me the present status of her case.
floydian: sir the sc has reserved the final deciscion in her case

sg: so what happened during the final round in that case?
floydian: sir during the cross examination.. the accused persons admitted that they took mai to that room, and when she came out, her clothes were torn and they also admitted that she was then paraded naked in front of the villagers.

sg: which tribe did the rapists belong to? and also tell which area.
floydian: mastoi tribe... meerwallah, muzzafargarh.


sg: and mai's tribe?
floydian: gujjar tatla

sg: how the doctrine of necessity has changed the political landscape of our country?
floydian: bla bla bla
