there are four major categories of questions.Foreign relations of Pakistan (i.e Pak-China, Pak-Iran,Pak-India, Pak-Afghan, Pak-Us relations etc) Organizations (UN, ASEAN, SCO, SAARC, OIC etc),International issues (Climate Change, GWOT etc) Pakistan's domestic issues (corruption, education, etc)...

treatment of all these categories varies..
for the first category, start with a bit of historical background (i.e early relations, significant events etc) then as the subject is current affairs, focus on latest developments..if the country in question is a friendly one, list the milestones achieved (cooperation deals, joint ventures etc) if the country is hostile, discuss the major irritants (can be cross-border terrorism, water-issue, etc)...then get creative & speculate about the future of bilateral ties..also recommend steps for improvement (in trade, cooperation etc)

organizations.again a bit of intro/background...why were they created? the purpose/goals, the member countries, the structure of the organization (no lengthy details necessary)....if they are successful, what are the reasons for it? (can be economic integration,no visa restrictions, no regional wars etc)
if they failed, what cause the failure? (conflicts between members, measly budget, problematic structure etc) recommendations..

international issues....their severity, potential impact on humanity, steps taken by intergovernmental organizations, evaluation of those steps (are they enough? are they effective?) recommendations for improvement in response.

Pakistan's domestic issues....they are the easiest, no need to prepare them separately for this paper. pakistan affairs (& essay) prep & newspapers would cover them automatically
