I would suggest otherwise. Sheherbano's Psychology for BA even is a beginner's guide when compared to authors like Feldman, Spencer or Zimbardo, let alone the intermediate level books. Go for a book by any of the three above mentioned authors (I would suggest Feldman if you have no prior know-how of this subject). Going through Shehrbano's books hoping that it will help you understand the basics of the subject is only going to make it difficult for you. Feldman is comprehensive, easy to understand and replete with real life examples and graphical illustrations which will actually help you grasp the basics. Once done with Feldman, consult as many books as you want, it will add to your knowledge base
