WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHIDREN'S FEAR AND HUMAN BEINGS FEAR ?

Some wrote no difference and some wrote children's fear is due to real time events and human being fear due to hypothetical events. Second answer is totally out of scope of passage. My answer is bit different.

"THERE IS DIFFERENCE OF REASON. Human being fear is due to stories of death and children's fear is due to stories of thieves and ghosts"

i don't remember the exact answer. But crux were same. Please comment.
