Well ! As far as my personal experience suggests ,
Arabic is abetter choice. Not only it is less time consuming but also
it is a highly rewarding subjects in terms of scores.
Now we come towards related questions.
Its objective keeps on repearting .
So if the MCQs of past papers are prepared this portion gets
prepared well and results in good scores.
The same is the case with short questions.
The better thing is that notes are there in market by Hafiz Arshad Sahb
containing solved objective as well as short questions.
If one prepares those past years questions, common sense gets developed about this language
and there are maximum chances that one can understand the question.
At least with me there has been no problem in this regard
Esssay consists of ten marks and is not big issue.
Either it is personality related or about arabic language. It can be prepared.
Arabic's translation portion of 40 marks creates the difference,
if at some other place one fumbles , it compensates that loss.
Yes this subject can be prepared at home.
I myself prepared it without any external help and got 137 marks in 2010 and
140 in 2011 despite this that paper of 2011 was tough and a bit out of traditional pattern.
