Though I do not remember the exact details of the essay after 1.5 years, but can certainly recall main points that I discussed there.
1. Situation of women in pre-Islamic era (Persia, Egypt/mesopotamia, Hindustan, Athens, Rome and in Arabian peninsula). (Read 1st volume of "Zia-un-Nabi (SAW) for this part.)
2. Status of women post-Islam.
3. Role of women in our society (mother, wife, sister, daughter).
4. Economic securities: Inheritance, dower, maintenance, pocket money, no need to struggle for earning etc)
5. Social securities: Respect for women in all relations, care, etc. I asserted that obligation of Pardah is also one huge social security for Muslim women, as it protects them from all evils.
Regards.
