1. Difference between Interview and Personal Hearing :

INTERVIEW is for those candidates who have been short-listed on the basis of written test while PERSONAL HEARING is for those candidates who have been REJECTED in the written-test stage due to some reason. They have filed representations to the Commission against their rejection and and now have been called to appear before a committee (comprising two members of Commission) to explain their position/point of view in person. According to Clause 7 , Section (3)/a of FPSC Ordinance 1977 , It is MANDATORY for Commission to call a candidate for Personal Hearing in order to decide his representation against his rejection.

2. & 3. : FS-II means Final Selection - Stage 2. To be more accurate, it is the Pre-selection stage 2. It is for those candidates who have been rejected in the initial stage of pre-selection that is of written test. Now, these candidates have filed representations against their rejection and have been called for Personal Hearing. If decision goes in their favour, they will be pre-selected and their pre-selection will be under FS-II that is Final Selection-stage 2. Well, on the similar pattern ,it can be rightly guessed that FS-I is Final Selection- Stage 1 and it includes those candidates who were declared successful/pre-selected initially on the basis of written test by FPSC.

As far as the calling of only 2 candidates against 26 is concerned, It is quite clear from the above explanation that these 2 candidates are those who have filed representations and have been called for Personal Hearings under FS-II ( Final Selection- Stage 2 ).

All short listed candidates will be called as and when interview is scheduled.

Twenty Six inspectors means that there are total of 26 posts of Inspectors, ASF which have been advertised . ( the province/region -wise quota distribution must be given in original advertisement ).

If there is still any confusion, I am here to clarify.
