Yes brother, your argument is weighty. But i think it mostly depends on the nature of our study of the subject whether we give more time to the objective part or subjective part of the subject. Like for example a candidate may solve a question or questions in a CSS paper without knowing answers of the MCQs on the same question or questions in the paper. This is because it needs a comprehensive study of the subject or atleast the topic to solve the MCQs on that subject or topic in the paper. Which is
,according to my view, almost impossible to cover a subject intensively as well as extensively especially if the subject is not your field of specialization. Because as we all know that competitive exams take only those MCQs on the subjects which even the specialists of the subjects find very difficult to answer. So this way the availability of MCQs in a paper of competitive exam may be a negative point in my personal view.
In the same way a candidate may easily solve all the MCQs of a paper on any subject in competitive exam without solving even two or more questions of the paper. This is because a candidate may have very intensive and extensive study of already solved MCQs on a subject paper of competitive exam. So in this case the availability of MCQs in the paper may be a plus point. So my point is that it mostly depends on the nature of our study of the subject whether we give more time to the objective part or subjective part of the subject.
