OMG poorly Portrayed:

OMG , unfortunately , have been badly portrayed by those who dont know ABC of it or have little knowledge. Usually you might have read the disappointing Comments/posts of those who are under training or just passed out.

Unfortunately, we cant have expert opinions of seniors who dont use such forums once in busy life. hence we stay deprived of realities.

Govt facilities and OMG:

To start with, If You want Cars, official Residence and large staff at the start of career then never go for OMG. COz OMG provides you all this at later age. In the beginning, it can provide you all this but on Deputation to other depts. If you stay posted at Federal Secretariat, Believe me, and awesome Environment is given to you with high exposure.
After Foreign Service, its OMG which provide widest chances of foreign tours. By God , not any single groups availed such chances as OMG..I except here Foreign Service.
Even Girls Officers have gone abroad officially numerous times. If you want to go for 2 or 4 years, you can also go for it. OMG provides you good platform for self development.

Govt Facilities in other Groups/ Services.( Separating Myth from Reality):


OMg gives Equal Salary, good exposure. Yes no car, no official accommodation. But its is because ISLAMABD is altogether different city. Its capital where all heads of Fed Dept are located.,Here neither IRS, FSP, Postal service, Audit and accounts officers have any Car or a ccommodation, nor Govt provides Car, Official accommodation to DMG, Custom, etc officers. Those who disagree, try it yourself bro. Or see the posted officers.

One PSP officer even didnt have accomodation at islamabad.He compelledy lived at NPA in a room. Likewise many DMG officers either have one-room accommodation or are deprived of it too.

See, Foreign service is kept high, It also doesn't provide Car official accommodations to its officers.

Get the reality and stop hitting OMG aimlessly. OMG officers serve at key positions and dont have these facilities coz Govt doesnt provide the said facilities at the beginning to all junior officers of any cadre at islamabad.

Once OMG officers, like other group officers, are posted outside islamabd, Car etc are enjoyed by him.
