Well the last post stands not only against logic but the common perception as well. Had money been so powerful, MPAs, MNAs and ministers would not have struggled to get their sons allocated in PSP, PAS. Money might give you feeling of power but its not power at all. All the business men and money wielding people struggle hard to keep terms with DPO,DCO.
There isn't any comparison between captain and SSP. Because captains in army struggle hard and appear in bulk before FPSC to get allocated in PSP and that too at the rank of ASP.
You should compare SSP with Brigadier at least and in my view SSP/DPO has much more influence, protocol, facilities and social recognition.
