that's true, and some subjects like Political Science, Constitutional Law and IR, are consistently low scoring. The knowledge these subjects offer, and their necessity in CIVIL SERVICES is huge. But some how or the other, this is strange case of our civil service exams that subjects like Persian, Arabic and other of the likes are given due priority by FPSC examiners, which in turn prompt aspirants to opt them, as exam is primarily of marks
NOT of INTELLECT.
