Dear Aano!
I have read Prof. Khurshid Amad's article 2 years ago. Let us talk about the vague philosophy in the light of our own perceptions.
Enlightened Moderation as a way out of the current stalemate is appreciable but enlightened Moderation as an explanation of the ills of the global world is farce.
I strongly believe that the philosophy has failed because it was coined by a person that is the absolute antonym of moderation.I believe that the pillars of sustenance of this philosophy are democracy, all inclusive political participation, liberal education, women empowerment, social tolerance, free media, attitudinal secularism and much more. The progenitor of this philosophy were the antithesis of these fundamental principles of Enlightened Moderation.
