My CGPA is 3.8 with distinction but in addition to UBL I applied to a few other banks as well and I only received response from UBL. I guess not all applications are filtered through properly by the banks and luck plays its part as well.

It should be noted that I didn't use any sort of reference or leverage at all in any stage although I ultimately choose not to join because of MS classes.
