any one please tell me about character certificate which we have to get it from any gazzeted officer in the post of AC/SO .. want to know the format of that certificate and .. plzz help me on this :blink:

You need two character certificates. First one is of your last attended acadimic character certificate. The second one is from anybody who is in 17 grade, either he could be a doctor, banker or any person who must not be your blood relative. The format of this character certificate is to mention your name, f/name, caste, address and in last line write that he is known to you for last five ten years. That's it. :)

Attach the last attendant character certificate whether it be an intermediate, it is just a formality dear. As per private degree, you are no more demanded to provide its character certificate.

Cant i provide three character certificates from theee different gazetted officers instead ?

No, just one is required to dispatch. Keep its photocopy in your record and dispatch the original one along with all photocopies and application forms.

i didn't see character certificate in the list of documents. do we have to include that too in the list of documents.?

Yes, because in my first attempt they sent me letter for directing me to dispatch character and degree certificate. Though it is not mentioned but I sent it again. Nothing to worry about, if you miss any document, prior to the declaration of result, they would send you a letter for assking the required documents.

Thanks Dear All as private candidate i asked BPSC about character certificate they told me to submit three character certificate from three different gazetted Officers.
