I have opted Indian History p2 and almost done with. Its a good subject, papers are relatively straighter than its peers. Preparation is little tricky but to chooser's bliss, not confusing. You retain everything you study once. A very desirable trait in subjects.

The course matter in every book is the same. its standard for all the authors. K. Ali, Sohail Bhatti, and I.H.Qureshi. All of them have similar stuff but with different style and length. It would be best to consult them all for a strengthened learning. I had time so I went through all of them. It upon you. The trick is that there is no trick. The syllabus is standard for all exams. Keep a keen eye on past papers, make notes and understand events. Do not try to memorize, coz its futile. You have to produce answers in your language for the course is huge. I repeat, just understand, do not try to cram.
