@buledi

In the PCS examination Islamic & Pakistan Studies (compulsory) paper having 100 marks consists of two sections that are Part-I (Islamic Studies) and Part-II (Pakistan Studies).

There is no such an option in the PCS/BPSC exam to attempt it in Urdu, you have to solve it in English only. In CSS you have the concession to attempt Islamiat paper both in English or Urdu.

Confirm......

I don’t think so. See all the past papers they have not given such an option to attempt the Islamic & Pak studies paper in Urdu. It may either old or new rule.
2. A candidate shall answer the paper in English unless otherwise directed.
It is from syllabus posted in cssforum. I have typed it from the syllabus that I got last year. Here unless otherwise directed means General Paper including Essay in Urdu, Baluchi, Pashto, Sindhi, Punjabi and Brahvi. I have past papers since 2000 in which they have not directed to attempt the Islamic & Pakistan Studies paper in Urdu.

I checked the latest syllabus. There is written only . . .
2. A candidate shall answer the paper in English unless otherwise directed.
I also confirmed from the officials of BPSC, they said that the Islamic & Pak-Studies paper can only be attempted in Urdu.
