The finally qualified candidates would be posted at Director General Public Relations Office at Quetta (DGPR) or they may be sent to divisional headquarters. Its a good post, mostly government related news items/advertisements are circulated through this office to reputed daily news papers.

As far as syllabus is concerned, there are two papers of hundred marks each.

First paper is purely about journalism like editorial, journalism in Pakistan especially in Balochistan, role of press in the freedom movement, yellow journalism, advertisement, column, code of ethics, role of electronic media, etc you can find all these topics in any standard book.

Second paper comprises Essay, questions on current/national/international issues and questions relating to general knowledge like abbreviations (Press related acronyms etc), currencies and capital, famous books and authors, identification of famous personalities etc

dear Zaheer, but according to Ad it was clearly mentioned that there will be the Paper of 100 Marks Based on Totally subject related MCQ's

You are right Adil. Mistakenly i have given you the job description/syllabus of Asst: Director Public Relations instead of giving information about Information Technology Dept: ....

And you are right ... you have to appear in a computer MCQ test ... professional MCQ books regarding Java/Programming/ Basic Computer Architecture etc would help you ... as we don't have any written past paper for such posts so anyone who has appeared in such exams of BPSC can help you better. thx.
