Note.

1. Every candidate shall take examination of all the compulsory subjects and two of the optional subjects.
2. Each paper will be of three hours duration and of degree standard.
3. All the paper will be answered in English except the paper on Islamic and Pakistan Studies.
4. No candidate shall be considered to have qualified the examination unless he obtains 40% marks in VIVA-VOCE test.
5. No candidate shall be summand for VIVA-VOCE unless he has obtained at least 33% marks in each individual written paper and 40% marks in the aggregate.
6. Five grace marks may be granted to really deserving candidates in one or two papers or in the aggregate.

4. No candidate shall be considered to have qualified the examination unless he obtains at least 40% marks in the VIVE – VOCE test.

5. Five grace marks only may be granted to really deserving candidates in one or two papers or in the aggregate.

can any one share past papers of divisional forest officer and ranger forest officer?

I HAVE DONE B.Sc. IN ZOOLOGY,BOTANY AND CHEMISTRY. AM I ELIGIBLE FOR APPLYING DIVISIONAL FOREST OFFICER (B-17)

For information

dear members, who so ever had applied for DFO B-17, are informed that the Balochistan Public service commission have announced the date of Examination for the post of DFO B-17 . The papers will start on 20th of june and will end on 28th of june. so who have received the roll no slip,its well and good and who so ever donot receive roll no slip till 17th of june should ask the BPSC office at samagli road qta. so that every one who had applied for the post should appear in the upcoming exam and some of us received the receipt of parole officer examination after the test was conducted. best of luck .. may ALLAH bless all of us ameen...... tc

what is eligibility criteria for DFO?

Eligibility Criteria for DFO (B-17)

Masters in Forestry or B.sc programme (4 year) or B.sc Agriculture.

i didn't understand one thing. will forest ranger go through optional subjects like maths phys agri and all that?

No, one has to clear these 4 papers..There is no optional subjects for Forest Ranger.

1.English. 2. General Mathematics 3. General Knowledge. 4. Islamic and Pakistan Studies.

P.S I had appeared for the post of Forest Ranger in September last year..All the papers were quite easy(for me mathematics was also difficult because i done Pre-Medical in Fsc although it was of Matric level) except General Knowledge..

Dear Members,

Im from Sindh. few days ago when i got to submitted my forms for the post of Forest Ranger here in Sindh Public Service Commission then they provided me the simple form for the selection of optional subs. Out of four optional subs i selected two i.e Biology[200] and Chemistry[200 marks] and remaining two subs are Mathematics and Physics. in that form compulsory subs are English[100] and General Knowledge[100 marks] and viva voice[200 marks]. i also got past papers of 2003 of biology and Gk and English. Questions are descriptive.
