the sbot 16 will start its training in march so it means they will announce the final results befor that and also there will be time for medical checkup.... so it means its the matter of 1 or 2 weeks that they will announce result... but it may be late as this is pakistan

Hello brothers n sisters...The GD and P.I in Qta were held yesterday...A total of 20 candidates were called for the G.D out of which 12 were selected for P.I. The topics of G.D were ROLE OF PRIVATE MEDIA, LOCAL GOVERNMENT and HAS DEMOCRACY FAILED IN PAKISTAN (my topic). Fortunately, I was one of the lucky ones who cleared the G.D.
My panel interview went good. I was asked abt my family, education, why I want to join SBP when I have done my bachelors in marketing, and then there was a whole technical discussion about the monetary poilcy, why sbp didn't change its key policy rate in the last monetary policy, what is the relationship between Inflation and growth, what is current account and how is it different from balance of payment, what is the ratio of current account today compared with that of june last year, what is comparative advantage in trade, How will I do my masters if I am willing to joing sbp and in what field etc....It was a very detailed interview and a technical one too bcoz I said I have interest in economy and sbp's chief economist was one of the panel members I was caught in one or two places but overall it went good.

at last interviews completed ..... now all of us are counting our fingers towards selection.. wish u all best of luck... hoping best for all... the result will be what is written in our luck...

Yup khalid brother very true...Best of luck to everyone and lets hope for the best everyone...Btw can anybody tell me that the final merit list will be on the basis of Written test, G.D and P.I or whatever is done it is left behind and they'l only select us on the basis of P.I now?

brothers please guide me was my respons a good one or ... i am confused

in my interview i told hem that recently i am shortlisted for the cultural exchange scholarship program so at the end when they finished the interview and i was leaving the room the head of the panel asked me to stop and then---- he question____ you are shortlisted in scholarship then what if u also selected here__ i replied ----ms and phd without professional experience are nothing definitely i will join state bank because it also give me the same opportunity==== he questioned__ for that u have to be employee of sbp for five years__ i replied __ yes sir but that will be my professional experience__ he said thank you..


yar i am confused about my answer and thinking that this is a negative thing

what you people think was my answer a good one or it will effect my selection

I cant say nythng bcz i m not professional n SBP's interview was my first professional interview.....but Gud Luck...

From Sindh total candidates interviewed were 25
from Isb. total candidates interviewed were 20
as from Quetta as mentioned above cand. were 12
That makes total of 57 candidates who reached to panel interview......Now hope for Best n pray for no. of seats (I mean should not less than 55 at least)...Once again Gud Luck to every one...

bro according to my information there are just 20 or 30 vacancies.... but no one can say any thing... however they will also observe regional qotas.....
