Dude I don't know whats the job market scenario in your city is but here in Khi normally companies hiring MTOs pay at least 30 to 35 K.

If TCS's budget was this low then they shouldn't have called us i.e.people from Szabist, CBM etc. 20K might sound good to graduates from low end ranked institutions. Szabist & CBM ranked 4th & 5th respectively according to HEC.

If this was just another simple job then people would have settled for this meager salary but they want us to reach the sky on a bicycle instead of a rocket. You understand what I am saying?

People without jobs or those who're not satisfied with their current one will definitely go for TCS's MTO but trust me they are gonna stay only until they find a better one.

I know some of TCS's top management view this CSS Forum (as they said in assessment center) and the responses will definitely ignite or at least alarm them.

RJP is also seems to me their tactic to drop mummy daddy candidates, Though, i did not make it to their final selected mtos list but astonished with the response of some top 30.

Those who have specialized in accounting and finance, they might put you in their audit division, that's what i heard from one of the interviewer, no idea about the others

So, who is gonna reject their offer letter, i would love to hear that

Drop Mummy Daddy candidate? Then what the hell was that arduous 7 months long recruitment process for? Or the management is certainly not capable enough to filter out such candidates through the multiple assessment that they have to resort to such primitive techniques.

I still can't decide what should I do, I really want to get rid of the haram income I earn from the bank. This factor is the only thing where TCS has the advantage for me, every other factor is overpowered by my current job.

There are two questionable factors in my mind,
1 - You could be placed anywhere in Pakistan, after the training as per the needs of the company.
2 - Regular assessments after every two months.

I will not leave my home town unless I am being offered a six figure salary, why the hell would I want to move to some other city with a lets say 30k-40k salary?

Are they so paranoid that they are still not sure if they have selected good candidates, they have to "score" their performance after every two months kinda tells me that if we don't score upto their expectation levels we might get a very low line desk job.

I have almost 2 years of experience in a bank (did my masters almost 2 years back) and if I move ahead with TCS and accept the salary which I was offered 2 years ago..."One step forward and two steps back" would perfectly summarize my position.

I have been wanting a non-banking job since very first day I got into the bank, and now that I have gotten it...I have no other choice but to reject it. The ironies of real life.

You got a masters plus a 2 years of experience? and yet you applied for a job that requires a bachelors with an experience next to zero?

Bro you should have thought about this haram factor two years ago prior to joining. I really feel sorry for you but trust me this job isn't meant for you. Even freshers are rejecting it for low salary then there's no point for you to think of joining.

Further I would advise you to switch your job whenever or whatever comes up but MTO isn't the platform anymore you should be looking for.

And about that 6 figure thing, thats not gonna happen within next 6 to 8 years. Trust me.

Actually I was just 1 year into my job when this program started. I didn't know that it would stretch this long.

They listed that 1-2 years experience is a plus in the requirements in their rozee.pk job ad. Hence I applied.

I was hoping that the Salary would be about 35k at least, because thats the min market standard for MTOs. So I though a starting 35k plus an MTO stamp on your CV would be good enough. I didn't know that this would be such a joke of any MTO program. I know very well how things work in office, tasks seems intimidating and daunting at first but just in a matter of a couple days you are doing it as a pro!

When you don't get a job after three months of completion of your degree, even after giving a dozen interviews...I don't think you have a choice.

Khair anyways, this has been a huge waste for me. Now do I need to submit my rejection letter or doing "nothing" will do the job.

Well agreed on that Sir.

Rejection letter? Why would someone have to submit this as well. Just don't sign the contract. Simple as that.
