Since I have worked in standard chartered bank and ex employee Badar Kazmi is the current President of NIB i can give u guys a little idea about the post.
This is basically a copy-version of SCB Fast track program. Standard chartered offers the program for recent graduates and the selected ones are trained for over a period of 12 months. Since kazmi has joined NIB now, so he is trying to apply similar procedures there which I appreciate. Though I have no idea how pretty is it going to be there at NIB. I just give you an idea about how it goes in SCB and you can expect similar, if not exact there. In scb you get trained for over a period of 12 months. Training is actually treated as training in standard chartered bank. You go through almost every aspect of the department you have been selected for. Then, you are offered G-8 position which is equivalent to OG2 but the good part is you are treated as a banker and not a joke as being done in most of the bank in Pakistan. So it's a good opportunity if it's the way it is in SCB. You can consider it an MTO program for your easiness. Regards |

can you please also shed some light on requirements, as I am being more concerned upon the 2 year experience of banking sector, since they have note mentioned that it is "preferred" but in the requirement. So a person with other working experience that involves dealing with banks would be considered? would really appreciate your assistance!! Rgds/Ali

Did any one received call?
Dear All,
As everyone is applying in NIB, can anyone please confirm when will they call for interview/test, what are prespectives for experienced graduates? As NIB is stating that, we need people with 2-3 years banking experience, in this time even the dullest banks promote people to OG-II, would NIB b giving any special promotion cader to them? |
