Askari Bank Test
 

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][SIZE="3"]Hello everyone. i hav applied in Askari Bank for the post of MTO.... i want to know about the test pattern of Askari Bank and which book should b consulted except GMAT... will IBP conduct the test or Askari Bank itself ?? also my CGPA is 3.4 and i did MBA Finance... will i get a test letter ?[/SIZE][/FONT]

Yes Dear definitely u will be called for test.You should prepare Economics,Math and stat & accounting subjects.

dear you will have to be vigilant for the test as there is no tuka system because there is negaive marking for your each wrong click on MCQ's.....so prepare well!

ahan okie thx alot.... ne recommended book for the test preparation ?

I will like to add more..............last time when i gave test it was difficult for me......Capital of countries, their currencies, biggest and small oceans and seas, five years plan (last time it was of 1990's 5 year plan) amount of pakistan, came in test....... Read economic survey as well.......and last but not the least an essay writing came.....last time the topic was food crisis in pakistan and its solutions...... synonyms and antonyms should also be prepared..............

i will recommend a book named "Bank Officers Guide" of Dogar Brothers.....this book is apropos for taking tests of all the banks especially State Bank of Pakistan.

Maths portion was from GMAT and Bankers Guide is also a gud book....... to prepare more on age problems or others visit this website;

well Askari Bank test includes[B] english,maths,general knowledge and current affairs...[/B]

[B]English Section[/B] includes 1 ESSAY TOPIC OF CURRENT ISSUES e.g WORLDCUP 2011,ENERGY SHORTFALL, SALMAN TASEER, ETC so prepare it well by reading the newspaper and watching news channels daily.

[B]Maths Section[/B] includes ratios,percentage,algebra,accounting,discounts,profits word problems etc.... so prepare it frm GMAT,6th,7th,8th class maths book and if u hav time then also consult GRE.

[B]General Knowledge[/B] well prepare it frm WHO IS WHO & WHAT IS WHAT.

[B]Current Affairs[/B], it includes PAk's current economic conditions,economic indicators and etc for tht check business recorder website also BOI website...
