Haha, your Eid is going to get a whole lot better. OG 2 and 45k + 3k in provident fund. 50k net when you get placed permanently (after 4/6 months training).
In private sector, only Standard Chartered pays on par with HBL and that's because they are a foreign bank.

45k+ thousand salary? its true brother?
if its trues than its a amazing job for fresher,,,,

Haha thanks, sounds good! Also any idea about the training location?, and if there is a contract that binds you for employment for a certain time period?

Yep bro, it's true. I was expecting 40k so it's even better. I also forgot to mention fringe benefits like free medical and soft loans. They become available after training period I guess.

For Karachi, I believe it's going to be HBL annexe (same location where tests were taken). I don't know about Lahore or Isloo.

There is normally a contract of 3-5 years in the banking industry so I would not be surprised if there is one at HBL too. But the good thing is I can imagine myself working at HBL for all my life. It's not like a smaller bank where the thought of joining a bigger bank for a better pay/rank will always be at the back of my mind.

The lady from HBL called today and asked about the acceptance of either i want to join or not...and guided me about the perk and rank of the job....asked me to come on tuesday details of which she will tell me once again.

What are the perks and rank offered to you?
I was last called on Friday, 3rd October. I have not heard anything back from them since then. I was asked to send them an email regarding my confirmation till Wednesday which I already did.

Rank is AM2 which is OG1 of other banks like MCB
salary during training is 50K...
raised after training
2 months training in karachi for all regions...
have to go to the venue where they call this tuesday now

Chalo good. We all will get to meet each other.
I was worried since I did not hear anything back from them after the call on last Friday.

"have to go to the venue where they call this tuesday now". What do you mean by this?

Are we supposed to go to HBL on this Tuesday without getting a call? or will they call us and inform that we have to come on Tuesday?

They did not tell me anything about coming on Tuesday in call. They said they would call me about collecting MTO offer letter.

they will certainly call us...give us detail of the venue where to come to collect and sign the obligations for the job...she said u probably have to come on tuesday to sign and collect your letter as well as travelling details on tuesday 14th..... total 10 MTO have been selected from North which according to her was a huge number....
