panel interviews have started. i had it today (Friday) there were four candidates including me today at davis road office.

Alhamdulillah i got the job. I am from Karachi. Does anyone know about the compensation package?

For Undergrads its Rs 30,000 for Masters Grads its Rs 35,000. Perks & Benefits: 3 million medical insurance, 3 bonuses per year, gratuity fund, provident fund, increment of around 4000 to 5000 every year.
when would this program start, any idea? i got the call the email that i have been selected but i didn't ask them when would we have to join.

Thanks.. I have got an email that you are selected and then a call from HR for confirmation that currently i am not working anywhere. They will call us most probably on 2nd July as they are busy in closing these days. This program is starting from 9 July and we will be posted in branches till Ramadan and then proper training will start after it. Btw i think i am the only candidate from Karachi because there was only me and right after my final interview with Mr Sirajuddin Aziz, Interview for Lahore candidates started on video.

The selection of these MTOs-Branch Banking takes place majorly for three stations i.e. Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad which means that they are placed at different branches in the mentioned cities. HABIB METROPOLITAN BANK Branch Banking MTO Program FY13

Compensation Package: Initially the officers will be paid, based on the educational qualifications, monthly gross salary of Rs.30,000/- & Rs.35,000/- for Bachelors & Masters respectively . Upon successful completion of 1 year service, these officers will be confirmed and awarded 1 flat increment (the increment amount will be based on the management’s discretion). In addition, they will be entitled to the following perks and benefits: Group Life Insurance Rs. 3Million Medical Insurance (inpatient for self, spouse & children) 3 Bonuses (1 Basic each) Privileged Leave & Leave Encashment Provident Fund (upon confirmation of services) Gratuity Fund (as per Bank Policy) Staff Loan (as per Bank Policy)

Training: The Branch Banking MTO Program provides extensive training of around 4 months w.r.t on-the-job and class room training entailing all major areas of General Banking, Advances & Trade Finance where the officers experience the best industry practices & controls. Through on-the-job trainings, these officers are also exposed to various other functions including but not limited to Risk, Treasury, Operations, Compliance & Audit to develop their focus and understanding. During training they are also given opportunity to interact with senior management to learn professional relationship management and enhance their professional personality. The progress of these officers is evaluated at every stage of job rotation, compiled & analyzed to form final assessment for confirmation and posting in any of the branches (in general banking) as Branch Banking MTO. Final Interview for Confirmation: The training evaluation procedure is specifically designed for Branch Banking MTOs to assess their learning and understanding aspects in terms of technical skills and behavioral competencies during classroom and on-the-job trainings. The evaluation is measured through frequent quizzes / test, presentations, class participation, case studies & practical knowledge etc. After finalization of evaluations, and before the permanent postings at branches, placements are made keeping in view the performance, potential, inclination of the officer as well as Bank’s need in a particular area. The pace of growth, in terms of job enrichment and professional development, of these MTOs is much accelerated, as they are provided ample opportunities to prove their mettle through high performance."

I asked about the program details just before the panel interview from the HR representative. She told me about the starting date of the program and Ramadan schedule. I belongs to Mohammad Ali Jinnah University. And yup she told me that after an year there will be an assessment sort of thing in which only one candidate from the batch will be given the opportunity to work in the head office or maybe in his desired department.

Why don't you ask Farah Rizvi (Habib Metroploitan Bank HR Direct No 02132644430) I have tried twice but she was not on her seat. Infact, I was about to ask you the same thing. Do let me know what they say about the joining details and schedule!

Yes! i know its starting from 15th July. I got call from Arzoo (Recruitment Head) and then Farah Rizvi asking if i have MBA Degree with me yet or not. They said to submit documents at the bank. Today when i called Farah Rizvi where to submit documents, either at Davis Road Branch or mail to the Head office Karachi. She said wait till you will get the call to receive Appointment letter from the bank. When did you get the letter? have you submitted the documents? and when is the Last date to sign the bond, any idea? and could you please tell me the details mentioned in the Appointment letter like Salary Structure or any other main points?
