Job Description

Efficient handling of payments / receipt /sorting of local and foreign currency (cash). Checking and verifying of accounts to avoid any fraudulent transactions.
Entry of opening cash balance, posting of all receipts and payments.
Printing of cash balance statements and tallying of physical cash with general ledger balance. Obtaining accounts summary, teller cash and reserve cash at day end.
Handling of the utility bills according to SOP.
Preparing Cash Management report as per SBP guidelines. ATM Operations and Reconciliation.
Any other assignment pertaining to Cash, assigned by line Manager.

Education

- 14-16 Years Education

- Not over 25 years of age as on May 31, 2014. However, age may be relaxed by 1-2 years for applicants that are working as cashiers/tellers with other Banks/FIs.

- Graduates from HEC recognized universities / colleges with 1st or 2nd Division) & base marks of 50% and above throughout their academic career.

What is the salary and grade of this post?

Salary expected around 16K approximate.

Salary start from 14k , after 3 month it will be 16k. You have to sign a bond of 2 or 3 lac for 2.5 years. I've recently interviewed for TCO at meezan.

Perhaps this is trainee post (training), so why we'd have to sign any bond?

Yes its permanent. Since Meezan is giving you training that is why they make you sign bond so that trainees do not run away to other banks after completing their training. All banks are making freshers sign bonds. [B]MCB & SCB is an exception[/B]

Dear test and interviews for the position of TBO have already taken place. You are right TCO is equal to OGIII and TBO is one grade above TCO.
