Nice to get detailed first hand info. from a respected CSS forum friend.
This year, they asked 7 questions written on a sheet of paper...There was no technical question! Following were the questions:
  1. What's Your name?
  2. What's your father's name?
  3. Briefly describe your family background.
  4. What is your Overall GPA?
  5. Briefly describe your educational background.
  6. Do you have any distinctions?
  7. What is your preferred city of posting?

I believe, the panel asked such questions only to assess your personality.

@ tahir
u r u r working from 4 years in NBP. currently in addvertisement they hav mentioned that 1st promotion is after 3 years and u will b promoted as AVP after 6 years, this is a good career track to hear but i heared from mTO's of other pvt bank that bank delayed their career track by 2 to 3 years despite that they have performed well. we should know actuall things before the start of our career. Kindly tell us in this regard with your experiance

I have confirmed it from NBP HR that HR is finalizing the list and probably selected candidates are being informed in b/w 15 to 20 july

how will the selected candidates be informed .. i mean by post or phone or listed will be uploaded on the ibp website ?

No list will b uploaded on IBP website. Infact IBP role is nearly finished in selection procedure.
Letter's will be dispatched to successful candidates and after that phone calls will also be made for confirmation of receiving the letter by candidate.

Dear i was also appeared in interview for Audit MTO,they asked me same questions i.e qualification,any distinction and prefer place of posting.But I didn't selected.Don't knw why.Somebody told me that they define whole merit upon your performance in test and GD then finalize the selection.Don't be pessimistic God will bless u people

Finalizing is in process.it is not completed yet.
@ kamran
i thnk test + GD + Confidence, Personality in short interview + Academic record + Any distinction + Institute from where u study will be in consideration

But good news for girls they are confirmed selected who appeared in interview regardless of my above post reply. the reason for that is nbp management believes in female empowerment, currently they have 60 branch managers on board, 2 females are Director of bank. Very small ratio is able to clear the test and those cleared test all passed in GD from Islamabad and Lahore center. I really appreciate that females role are promoted in govt controlled bank.

I have also heard that the city from which yu belongs will also be considered bkz they have to disperse the selected candidates all over the pak. and in lhr centre more than 60 % candidates were from lhr. and during interview they were saying to lhr candidates that no vacancies are left for lhr now so select any other prefered city other than lhr.


Guys any updates regarding the final selection letters?
