Share your NBP MTO Interview experiences

Special request to mods: Plz dont merge this thread into some other thread as it has a totally diff. theme!

Now that interviews at Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi are over...I'd like to request all members of this board to share their experiences.

I was asked additional question alongwith the 6-7 questions printed on a paper and kept infront of the panel. (The same questions asked to all candidates)
They also asked me if I am willing to move out of Karachi to wish I replied positively. They also discussed in detail my academic distinctions and pointed out my performance in the group discussion round.

So all those who've appeared at NBP's MTO interviews, plz share your experiences as it will give all of us a general idea about how the interviews were conducted!

I am from Islamabad. I was asked only the questions on paer + 2 addl. questions. (Family back ground + University). One of my friend wasasked one more question that why we you want to join banking.
I thnk they are just observing your confidence level because the answer to the questions on paper is already present on our CV's which are being prepared by NBP junior staff while verifying the documents.
One thing more thy are really giving credits to those who have some Distictions/Gold Medals in their acdemic career.....

@Rock, there were 128 candidates in Karachi out of which around 68-70 made it to the final interview. From the figures provided by you and comparing them with Karachi's figures, I believe they'll have a balanced hiring from all centres.

386 passed test. out of which 174 passed GD. Passing %age is 45%. the center wise selection for interview as under.
karachi 65
Lahore 70
Rawalpindi 39
I am expecting Total no. of seats are 120 to 130. There is no provincial Quota. IN NBP MTO audit batch nearly 170 Canidates passed GD and 126 Canidates are slected and I thnk same will be the case with MTO Gen. Banking Group. MTO Audit batch have completed their training. Soon Finally selected people will recieve letters

I am Working in NBP as MTO Batch(Fourth)2006, no body should afraid of an interview conducted by NBP Board. Its all about analysis of your personality, your facial expression and a bit knowledge about the current issues. If any body has been selected in written test and group discussion, i think he has achieved more than 90% of his target, remaing 10% relies on destiney and bit of your knowledge.

There were only four questions asked from me, when i appeared NBP MTO interview:

1) Define yourself:
2) Should Sadam Hussain be hanged?
3) Are you from larkana? I said Yes, Should Kalabag dam be made?
4) Why you want to be a banker?

I replied very positively, and was selected, even they replied me on the spot and congratulated me for me selection.
