YPIP OG 2 query
 

i found this print, is the last date to apply for this is 16 oct 2017?


Can any one please tell me if this is Islamabad based job and what exactly is OG 2 officer?
I am ACCA Finalist with one paper left, can I apply for this position or not?
also if max age is 28 that means your age can be maximum 28 when ad was posted or it should be 27 at time of posting the ad?

SBP-BSC has 16 offices across Pakistan. Selected candidates can be posted in any of these offices.
16th October has been reported to be the last day to apply. It will be confirmed when it is advertised after Moharram holidays.
OG-2 is Officer Grade 2. Grades in SBP start from OG-1 and onwards.
As per my understanding, you can apply if your age is below 28 (ie, you can apply if you are upto 27 years and 364 days old). I may be wrong here.

I have one paper left so i am not sure if HEC will issue me equivalence,
any idea how long it will take till the interview date when they'll actually require it, if its a long process then I can take chances.

For YPIP 6th batch, test was held in the second week of January and the interviews in the last week of March. You can contact HEC regarding equivalence issue.

when do they require any documents, at time of interview only or before too?
also do u have any idea what is the responsibility of OG 2 officer like what tasks are assigned

Documents are required at the time of interview mostly. However, your eligibility will be decided on the terms and conditions mentioned in the ad.
BSC carries out supervision of banking sector and implementation of SBP policy.

Only ACCA Members are eligible for these positions as HEC provides 16 years of education equivalence only to the members

i know that ACCA with 3yr experience is equal to M com but the ad says ACCA qualification is allowed they didnt specify that members only but there wont be any equivalence either, now this is really confusing :huh:

You don't required any equilency certificate for it you have to submit your complete documents e.g final transcripts of ACCA while applying for the said post. Moreover, your ACCA sould be completed before the closing date of advertisement, even a single paper is remain then unfortunately you are not eligible.

Thank you bro, so it means I just need to clear my last paper and then wait for October 2018 :(
I thought maybe I could apply as by the time of interview I would have cleared it so its my bad luck then :sad and then there comes the age limit
I am not sure if they want us to be of less than 28 or less than 29 is fine?
