I have never studied economics or anything related to that. would tht go against me in interview? would interviewers focus more on economics? what should i study? plz help

Alhamdolillah i have also cleared the test.Do anyone has the idea when will be the group discussions and interviews conducted and when will be the letters dispatched.Raz brother if u can help us in this regard

brother for this you have to visit the thread sbots 16 in which on some pages a full discussion regarding gd and pi is available. and 99 % of the boys on that thread were selected in our batch..

I have successfully qualified SBOTS 17 written test. I have no idea about topics and procedure of GD. Anyone familiar with the procedure and topics to be prepared plz help me.

I am from SBOTS 16.................they gave us a topic n sum tym to jot down points.....then disscus it ...but tym was very short......so be careful.........what they try to find out is ur teamwork ability, ur way of disscusion, dont be on the xtreme, disscus positives n negatives of any topic.... neither be talkative nor be shy....nd be relax at that time.....Gud Luck ny querries post on this forum i l try to help u out


these were the Topics in sbots 16:

the stock market is that show economic health of a country
"SUGAR CRISIS- THE RESULT OF POLICY MAKING OR CARTELISATION?"
Some other topics of other groups were about Islamic Banking, Speculation in stock market, Role of Media in Society, Judicial Activism etc.

I have few queries:

1.How long it may take to hold group discussion?Any idea...
2.One thing I noticed from SBOT-15,that there were 425 candidates who qualified written and 60 candidates were finally selected..and this time its only 235 candidates who have been short listed after written..so does it give clue about number of seats?..I think this time there would be less number than SBOT-15...??
