Dude I am working in ABL, I have 2 friends working in ZTBL. I think the promotion, increments and other chances are way more in a commercial bank than a AGRI bank. I have observed following
---We get a grade promotion in almost 3 years but in ZTBL it's almost 5 years.
Our pay is more than them.
---We get more bonuses than them.
Exposure, knowledge and work diversification is more than a "SEGMENTED" bank.
---While switching, a commercial bank will prefer the experience of a commercial bank. Even if you read the job ad for a senior post, it is mentioned that person should have a complete knowledge of banking.
---While your customer dealing in ZTBL, you will meet people of a specific class i:e, farmers, while in a commercial bank, you daily come across with people of different backgrounds which not only gives you more confidence, more exposure but also a diversified customer relation building that's most important thing in banking industry. More relations, more progress.
---The advance cases in ZTBL would be maximum up to 5 lack, but in commercial banking, your advancing portfolio and customer payment and deposit capacity is more. Corporate relationship building.
--- Don't worry about job security, UBL is one among top 5 banks.

So according to MY OBSERVATIONS, my suggestion is not to leave UBL.

Well taking suggestions from seniors and having good experience in UBL i have decided to continue my present job......

I'm also working in UBL as RBO. Continue with UBL.

its a wrong perception that there is less work load in ztbl..There is hell of work load in branches..

There are no Bonuses at ZTBL

Less promption prospects at ZTBL u will be considered 4 promotion to OG-II after 5 years

You wont be able to acquire sufficent banking skills

The biggest drawback is your chance of switch over to other banks will diminish
