Can any banker please tell!!!
can any person please tell what does it mean in the banking language the terms TIER 1 TIER 2 AND TIER 3
can any experienced person give some examples of banks in each category ie the banks which include in TIER 1 the banks which are TIER 2 and the banks which are TIER 3 regards |

i think tier 1,2,3 is related to financial capacity of a specific bank , according to the basel accords , im a student of finance , . By their capacity to hold tier 1 capital a bank may or maynot be termed as teir one bank(just my guess )

Tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 are the categories of the banks according to their deposits, ratings and no of branches. It is not a full definition but enough to understand the concept
