Dear aleem, i second Ali on the points he has presented.
Age may be increased but increment in the Education criteria is far from being fruitful in any way.
all those with 14 years degree would be rendered ineligible. Think if someone has 14 years education at 29 for ANY possible reason, how would he be able to take CSS?

take my example, I have devoted about 4-5 years at ACCA so far totally unrecognized by the so called HEC. just got my BCOM degree after a long struggle along side with that thanks to the ALMIGHTY.
and now looking at the education reform aspect makes my blood boil of fury.

I don't claim to be something out of this world but i can confidently say that my level of knowledge is second to no 16-18 year education holder right now but still il be discriminated and called as a 14 year old ineligible candidate.

It is most certainly unfair.
No graduate should EVER by deprived of his/her fair chance at the CSS.

Establishment MUST Consider this seriously before taking any Sensitive and Unnecessary steps like these and limiting the dreams of thousands of worthy Potential Aspirants of Pakistan.

Regards,

ever heard of paranoia due to excessive study or exertion?
the guy is clearly playing with the hearts and minds of the Aspirants.

I called FPSC Personally and asked about the 16 years reform rumor.

The person (seemed mature by the tone) replied..
'If there would be any news like that, it shall be updated on the FPSC website'

The ones who are spreading these rumors without any Material Source/Evidence.

I was referring to the person you referred earlier.
He doesn't have any prove of what he claims, if he had, he had shared it generally a long time ago.

FPSC has said that if there would be ANY change, it would be mentioned on the website officially.

so keep calm everyone and don't let the trolls get the best of you.

Of course you can sit for css exam after doing graduation or master privately ,but that institution has to be HEC recognized.

if the government decide to limit min education to 16.

hopefully it shall not resort to adapt such an unproductive approach.
age may be extended but the education criteria should remain unchanged for it will render many potentially ingenious and effective 14 years degree holding candidates ineligible.
