Not a novel, but an aspirant must go through GRE Barron book if he wants to improve English grammar and sentence structure.

Sorry I was busy so was unable to regularly check the forum. I am glad there are more books for me to put in "to read" list.

George R.R. Martin has a gift for writing beautiful stories. The way he describes scenes and helps you create situations in your head is remarkable. I have all of his books and I love them. However I considered them irrelevant for this post. Subjective issue so no big deal. I am just glad you read them as well.

Catcher in the Rye is love. I finished this book in one sitting and that's pretty rare for me to do. I am glad you dropped by to mention it.

Which is the funniest book you have ever read?
For me it is the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, the whole series is pretty funny. I would love to know your point of view and would love to add a few more books to my summer reading list.
Anxiously waiting
HHGTG is amazing. I laughed my head off while reading it. My best friend and I joke about towels all the time, thanks to this book. However one book that made me laugh and often amused me to no limits is Catch 22. It wasn't a laugh out book except for few places but it is the kind of absurdness that I love. In life sometimes many situations happen where I at once think of some story or passage from this book. It is not for everyone though and many people sharply criticise it but it is my darling so I love it. I don't recommend it to people too openly though. lol.

"The extraordinary journey of the fakir who got trapped inside an ikea wardrobe" seems very interesting. I'll try to buy it. Thank you for mentioning it.

Mine would be "Animal Farm" by George Orwell and "The age of deception-nuclear diplomacy in treacherous times" by Mohamed Elbaradei. (It is also FPSC's recommended book) The latter is essential to get a glimpse over how governments handle stuff, has lots of personal accounts, UN proceedings, US's manner of dealing with dissent and above all, presents behind the scene facts about the events that unfolded themselves in 00's which were, if you are a 90's kid like me, were the events we witnessed in our teen years. (Other decades just seem so far and so mutaliya-e-Pakistan). The book is written very well too. I laughed many times and got all teared up when IAEA and writer got Nobel Prize.

What is your absolutely "must-read" book for css aspirants? It can be from any genre. I will surely read it if not any one else. I am in love with books these days and have a year to prepare for css. Throw away
plz provide link of books which name you mention so anybody can access that book easily from internet
