Lightbulb

What I do is ; clear all my concepts and then Mcqs only become the test of my knowledge and concepts.
Rattafying Mcqs from a keybook is a time waste if it includes a concept which You don't know. Practicing to examine one self is another case. It helps. But there are some MCQS which need ratta and we have to do it.

Extensive reading is also a good solution,
Consider my case, I learnt from the very beginning that "ayat-ul-kursi" is the longest verse in the quran and is in para 3rd para of Quran. But didn't read that it is in surah Baqra, so at the day of my exam test, my point was "longest ayat is in surah Al-imran".My folly that i didnt read it completely.
So, for getting good marks in mcqs portion, you need to read all "major and minor details".
But any way some mcqs are lil bit conceptual as well. For example, synonyms and antonyms in English composition paper.
Simple formula from my experience is(some ratta+concept+major & minor details of each and every topic)
I hope it will work.

Default Jehangir World Times' SMS service for MCQs

Thanks to all for your valuable responses. I really appreciate that. So, the gist of the discussion is that I should read extensively which I am already doing for the subjective portion. Secondly, I should buy books for MCQs.
I have another question please.
Jehangir World Times Magazine has started a new program for MCQs preparation. Aspirants may subscribe to it and receive sms on six papers (5 compulsory and 1 optional) on daily basis. Can this service suffice the need of preparation along with extensive study?

For compulsory, and concerned optional subjects, practice past papers from the book: Encyclopedia of GK by Caravan.
