My date of birth is 15-01-1990... Please seniors tell me whether I can appear in CSS exams of 2018 or not?

My date of birth is 05-08-1996. Am I eligible for the CSS - 2018? I read on one of the CSS's websites the eligibility age 21-28 but I am not sure about it because there were some amendments made last year! I need your suggestion seniors!?

Yes you are eligible don't worry about age you have much time for your css attempts.just focus on English language because css is all about English :/

No, you are not. I had the same issue. This is the reason im appearing in 2017. According to policy the candidate should be 28 or below. We will turned 28 by January 2018 and test will be conducted in February.I asked from KIPs but still will say im not sure. Seniors will give a better insight regrading this query. Infact; if we are still eligible, what will be better than this.

By CE-18's cut-off (31st Dec 2017) you'll be 27 years 11 months 16 days old and eligible for CE-18 and that will be your last chance without claiming age relaxation.


So you have CE-17 and CE-18 at your disposal.

By CE-18's cut-off (31st Dec 2017) you'll be 21 years 4 months 26 days old and eligible for CE-18. It will be your first chance at CSS.

Further, by CE-24's cut-off (31st Dec 2023) you'll be 27 years 4 months 26 days old and keeping in view current rules it will be your last chance.

So you have CE-18 to CE-24 at your disposal.
