Default Job Experience for CE-2017
While applying for CE-2017, it asks me for my job experience. I am working in SNGPL on a purely contractual basis. If I fill up the form as the following,

Type Of Organization : Semi-Government
Nature of Job : Contractual/Ad-Hoc


Would I need any departmental permission certificate in this case? I don't want to get into that thing at all since it's purely contractual.

Yes if you are mentioning and you are still serving it is obvious to obtain departmental permission.

Even for a Semi-Government institute?
Because I believe autonomous bodies do not qualify. Is that correct?

My advice, post your query to fpsc through e-mail. In case of ambiguity, only fpsc can guide you. However, since SNGPL is a public enterprise, irrespective of the fact that it falls in the category of Semi-Govt, therefore, departmental permission becomes mandatory.

I think DPC is required in the interview phase.
